Where Personalised Book Orders Come From: A State-by-State Breakdown
Personalised children's books are a national gift, but demand is not spread evenly. Looking at where orders ship gives a clear read on which states and regions are driving the category.
Which Australian state orders the most personalised books?
New South Wales leads, accounting for roughly a quarter of all orders. Victoria follows in second place at close to a fifth of orders, with Queensland third at just over 15%. Together, these three states make up close to 60% of all personalised book orders shipped.
How do the smaller states and territories compare?
Western Australia sits next at just under 10% of orders, ahead of South Australia at around 5%. Tasmania rounds out the mainland and island states with a small but consistent share of orders each year.
Do personalised books sell outside Australia?
A meaningful share of orders ship overseas. Canada and New Zealand are the largest international markets, followed by a smaller but steady flow to the UK. Auckland alone accounts for more orders than several Australian states, pointing to real demand for personalised keepsakes among Australian expat and diaspora families.
Methodology
Based on shipping address data from Ziggli orders placed between October 2025 and July 2026. Internal, test, and staff orders were excluded. Figures are share of total order volume, not revenue.
